Thats a great question... Also how bad is the mafia problem in Macau? I am interested in starting a business when i get there and I've been warned more than once about the mafia.
Macau is a relatively safe place to live and work. As with any other city there are areas that one should avoid late in the evening. A little common sense goes a long way. Whoever warned you must be in a constant state of paranoia.

If you really need the absolute best, they cost an arm and three legs. MOP$2,000 per hour and UP. They represent High powered and elite clients such as the big boys of Las Vegas Sands Corp.
