Real Estate Laws

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as tennants rights or Real Estate laws in Macau.
I am about to renew my lease for the third time on the same unit and the Realestate agency want $7500 to draw up a new lease.
When I questioned them about it I was told that if they got a new tennant they would have to pay this and I could leave if I didnt like it. I tried to get the owners contact details but they refused to give it.
I pay my rent on time and treat the unit as if I owned it and I am sure the owner would not be happy with the agencies attitude.
If I was to leave the owner could be out of pocket for months waiting on a new tennant.
Is this a common practice in Macau or is it because of my complexion?
