Wynn Macau was recognised as the “best hotel catering to the up-market traveller, boasting the best visual appeal and ambience reflecting up-market status”, by the Singapore based travel publication.
Wynn Macau was one of only four hotels selected in Macau among the total list of 39 winners in China, Hong Kong and Macau.
Macau's “Best business hotel” was awarded to the Mandarin Oriental, while the Holiday Inn received the city's “Best mid-range hotel” award.
The Venetian Macao was awarded the “Best meetings and conventions hotel” and “Best new hotel”
The best convention and exhibition centre in China award was presented to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, with the city taking out the award for best MICE location in China.
“The recognition in the prestigious TTG China Travel Awards represents Wynn Macau’s success in offering matters to discerning guests, setting the bar for luxury and excellence in Macau,” a press release from Wynn Macau said.
The inaugural TTG China Travel Awards recognizes Chinafs best performing travel and tourism organizations as determined by votes cast by fellow trade professionals who are readers of TTG China, BTmice China, Asiaand , the regionfs leading travel trade magazines. Winners are deemed the best in Chinafs travel and tourism industry from the tradefs perspective. Voting was conducted in January and February 2008.
