Thirteen more Hong Kong people have come down with symptoms of food poisoning after having a buffet dinner in a Macau hotel.

The eight men and five women, aged 20 to 31, developed gastroenteritis symptoms, including abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and fever after dinning at The Venetian Hotel on August 30, 31 and September 1.

None of them required hospital stay and they are all in stable condition.

Another 11 Hong Kong people were suspected to have caontracted food poisoning earlier this week after having a buffet dinner on August 30 at Sands Macao Hotel.

The Centre for Health Protection has informed the Macau health authority about the reports.

Macau authorities inspected both restaurants and suspected the incidents were related to raw oysters.
